Bridge Collapses in Minnesota - Kappa Alpha Psi Responds, Brothers Appear to be Safe
Philadelphia, PA, August 1, 2007 - As a major tragedy unfolded on an eight lane Interstate 35W bridge in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN, officials were calculating the death toll and injuries. Citizens were still in the water waiting to be rescued, while families eagerly awaited the news. This was a result of the bridge collapsing into the waters of the Mississippi River.
Grand Polemarch Dwayne M. Murray, Esq., immediately put a response team in place to determine what the status of Kappa brothers is, and what Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. could do to assist the victims of this heartbreaking event. He is appealing to all members of the fraternity to reach out and help.
The good news is that all members of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity chapters in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area have been accounted for but one as of this posting. We will keep you informed.
